Description
Nos 21 to 25 (odd), including the extension to the north and railings, are early 19th-century buildings located on the west side of Church Street. The structures are rendered with a pitched slate roof and feature red brick stacks. They stand two storeys high and have six ranges of sash windows with glazing bars. There are three doors, each with a blind semi-circular fanlight above. No 25 includes an extension that has one ledged door and one sash window with glazing bars on the first floor. The railings are made of cast iron and feature urn and spear finials. Each house has three steps leading up to the entrance, with footscrapers set into the railings. The northern extension has a rubble ground floor and a red brick first floor, topped with a pitched slate roof. It includes a modern sliding door, one planked window, and one window that is part planked and part glazed. The wall along the south side contributes to the group value with Nos 15 to 27 (odd).
