Description

Nos. 205 and 207 Wakeham are a pair of houses in a row, built in the late 18th century or early 19th century. They are rendered with an asbestos-cement slate roof and feature a wide frontage of two storeys and an attic, with one window on each side. No. 205 has 4-pane sash windows at each level, while No. 207 has small 20th-century replacement windows. In the centre, there is a pent porch with lateral entries; No. 205 has a plank door, and No. 207 has a replacement aluminium door. There is a roof light on No. 205. Despite the late 20th-century changes to No. 207, this building remains an important part of the mixed row of houses.
