Description

Hixon Bridge is a road bridge that spans a stream, likely built in the late 18th century. It is constructed from rubble stone and features rounded capping. The bridge has a stepped plan, with a narrower section in the center that widens at both ends. It is supported by square terminal piers topped with curved pyramidal caps and has a single low segmental arch.
