Little Treswarrow And Barn Adjoining On Right Hand Side

Little Treswarrow is a house with an adjoining barn on the right-hand side, likely remodeled in the mid to late 18th century and again in the mid 19th century. The building is constructed of rendered stone rubble and cob, topped with a rag slate roof featuring gable ends and brick chimney stacks. It has a two-room and cross passage layout, with a smaller room on the left and a solid wall on the left side of the passage. A 19th-century staircase is located at the rear of the passage, and the right-hand partition has been removed, resulting in an off-set back door. An outshut was added to the rear around the late 18th century or early 19th century.

The building stands two stories high with an asymmetrical three-window front. The ground floor features a late 19th-century six-pane sash window on the left, a 20th-century door to the left of center, and a 20th-century three-light window on the right. The first floor has three early 19th-century 16-pane hornless sash windows. Inside, there are 19th-century ceiling beams, a simple softwood staircase, and 20th-century chimney pieces. The roof timbers may include reused timber, with lapped and pegged collars and apex.

The barn adjoining the right gable end dates from the early to mid 19th century and includes an external stair at the rear leading to a first-floor stable door, which features carved graffiti of sailing ships. Additionally, there is a small recess in the outer wall on the right for a privy, with a stream running along the right-hand side wall.
