Description

The gate piers, screen walls, and obelisk at the main entrance to Kenegie House date from the 18th century and are constructed of granite ashlar. The structure features square-on-plan piers that stand over flanking walls. The right-hand wall angles towards the front and then runs parallel to the gateway at a distance to the right. This wall is embattled and includes an obelisk near its outer corner. The piers are topped with moulded caps and ball finials. There is a wooden gate from the late 19th century that has wooden rails, cross bracing, and iron bars with finials.
