Description

Dr Stack's House is a long house dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed of painted rubble, with part of the exterior faced in vertical slates above the ground floor. The building has two storeys and features four sash windows with glazing bars. The roof is made of slurried slate and has gable ends. Dr Stack's House is part of a group that includes Corner Cottage, Penrose Cottage, Rosedale, and Treesdale.
