Description

The pound, likely from the 18th century, is constructed from rubble with granite and slate dressings. It has a rectangular plan measuring approximately 9 metres by 8 metres, featuring a one metre wide entrance at the southeast corner. The ends of the walls are dressed in granite and topped with through slates, which are bedded under roughly circular shaped slate copings. The walls stand about 2 metres high.
