Description

The stile and gate-piers located at the southeast of Winnianton Farmhouse date from around the 1840s. They are constructed from shale rubble and dressed granite. The stile is semi-circular in shape and features winder steps that rise from either side of a square-on-plan dressed granite gate-pier newel, which has a low pitched pyramidal cap. The gate-pier on the opposite side of the carriageway is similar in design.
