Description

This is an early 19th-century building, comprising numbers 19 and 21 Salubrious Terrace. It is constructed of rubble, with the upper portions stuccoed. The building is three storeys high, originally with three windows, though the central window is now blocked. The windows are sash windows in moulded cases with glazing bars. A segmental arch window is located on the ground floor. The eaves overhang. The roof is slate. Cast iron railings lead to the first-floor entrances via steps, incorporating a small capping rail, a circular newel post, and double stanchions with a foliated pattern. The buildings contribute to the group value of the listed buildings along Virgin Street.
