Description
The parish boundary stone, dating from the early 19th century, is located between the original Chacewater and Gwennap parishes. It is made of granite and is a monolith that has been roughly hewn. The stone is inscribed with the number 56. This boundary stone not only marks the parish boundary but also delineates the mineral rights of local landowners. It is one of a series of 35 similar stones that are included in this listing.
