Description
This is a disused drinking fountain, likely built in the mid to late 19th century, located about 20 metres east of the Church Hall in Constantine. The fountain is made of granite and is set into a wall. It features a small round-headed block of granite that stands approximately 1 metre tall, with a round-headed niche on the front and a wrought-iron bar across it. Inside the niche, there is a stopped pipe instead of a tap. In front of the fountain, there is a semi-circular granite block with a depression on the top. This fountain is one of a series of six surviving drinking fountains that provided water to the village, piped from the top of Constantine.
