8/81 Nicholas Chest tomb about 1.5 - metres east of chancel of Church of St Constantine

GV II

Chest tomb. Circa early C19. Granite ashlar with slate tablets. The chest has a moulded plinth and lid. The lid has an inset slate which is overgrown with ivy. The sides of the chest have moulded panels, 2 with inset slate tablets inscribed to Wearn Nicholas who died in 1831 and to Thomas Nicholas who died in 1846.
