Description
The Black Rock, Port of Call, Praeds and Moshulu is an 18th-century building located on the north side of Market Place. It features a stucco exterior and a slate hipped roof, rising to three storeys with a total of three windows. The building has two 19th-century shop fronts, which are adorned with small fluted Ionic pilasters and a wide continuous cornice. Above these shop fronts, there are double-hung sash windows with glazing bars and moulded architraves. The building also has panelled quoin pilasters and a moulded eaves course. The left-hand wing is constructed of granite rubble and also stands three storeys tall, featuring two sash windows.
