Description
The former stables and cart house, along with a stile to the west, are located about 70 metres southeast of the Vicarage in Morwenstow. These structures were built in the early 19th century for the Reverend R.S. Hawker. They are made of stone rubble with slate roofs that are gabled at the ends. The stile is made of dressed stone and slate. The buildings are arranged in a T plan, with the stables to the west featuring a stable door on the west side, and the cart house to the east having two cart entrances on the north side. The stile to the west is similar to the stile next to the lych gate and includes contemporary timber doors.
