Description
This garden seat, located approximately 25 metres north of Blaise Castle House, was built in 1832 by C.R. Cockerell. It is made of limestone ashlar and features a pedimented wall with a large, keyed niche and an impost band. The seat was constructed at the end of Sir Samuel Astrey's double avenue of trees from around 1700 and originally included a seat within the niche.
