Description
Home Farmhouse is an 18th-century house that has been divided into three separate units. It is constructed from limestone rubble, featuring brick ridge and gable stacks, and has a pantile roof. The building has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys high with a seven-window range.
The structure is arranged in three sections along sloping ground. The right-hand end has three storeys and a two-window range, which includes a central doorway, a single window to the left, two windows above, and a central ridge stack. The right-hand return features cambered heads on three ground- and first-floor windows, along with a single window on the second floor.
The central section has a raised roof compared to the flanking sections, presenting a symmetrical front with a six-panel door and two eaves dormers. The left-hand section also has three windows, and the windows throughout have been replaced with 20th-century casements that include horizontal glazing bars. The interior has not been inspected.
