Description

This is a pair of early 19th-century terraced houses on Stapleton Road, Easton, Bristol. The houses are faced in render with limestone dressings, and have a pantile roof. They are arranged with a double-depth plan, and are three storeys high with a four-window front. The design is balanced, with lower side blocks set back from the main facade, and a pronounced central section featuring pilasters, a cornice, and a parapet. The windows have stepped voussoirs, and some retain original six-pane sashes. A bracketed canopy shelters a round-headed doorway with a fanlight on the right side of the central block, while a plain doorway is located in the left wing. The interior has not been inspected.
