Description

Number 15 is a house dating from around 1813. It is constructed of stucco with limestone detailing, and features party wall stacks. The house has a double-depth plan and is built in a late Georgian style. The two-storey building, with a basement, has a three-window front. The symmetrical facade includes pilasters and a moulded coping to a parapet which is ramped at each end. A raised basement is accessed by steps leading to a Roman Doric portico, which has an entablature, cornice, and architrave framing a recessed six-panel door with glazed upper panels. The windows are 8/8-pane sashes. The interior has not been inspected. Attached to the front are rubble garden walls, along with rusticated piers and wrought-iron gates.
