Description

The walled entrance screen and archway to the New Room in Bristol dates from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of squared coursed Lias stone with limestone ashlar dressings. The design features an elliptical arch that includes a key and impost, along with wrought-iron gates topped with urn finials.
