Description
This is a gas lamp post located approximately 2 meters south of St Nicholas' Almshouses in Bristol. It dates from the mid-19th century and was made by Jones of Bristol. The lamp post is constructed from cast iron and features a plinth, a shaft, and a switch bar, topped with a flared lamp. It has been converted to electricity.
