Description
The railway tunnel ventilation tower, located opposite the end of Pembroke Road in Bristol, was built around 1875. It is constructed from squared Pennant rubble and features limestone dressings. The tower is round in shape and has a moulded plinth and coping, along with a moulded panel. This structure serves the Clifton Down Tunnel, which was also opened in 1875.
