Description

Avoncliffe is a detached house that was originally part of a row of buildings, dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of ashlar and features a Cotswold stone slate mansard roof. The house has two storeys and attics with hipped dormers. The facade includes two 2-storey bows, each with three 8-pane glazing bar sash windows, which are topped by a cornice and parapet that runs across the entire front. There is a central blank window, a cill band, and a plat band. The entrance features a central 6-panel door set within a semi-circular headed opening.
