Description

The bridge over the Kennet and Avon Canal, built in the early 19th century, dates back to when the canal was opened in 1810. The engineer for the canal was John Rennie. The bridge is constructed of ashlar stone and features a single span horseshoe arch with a triple keystone. It also has a plat band and a parapet.
