Description
The Original Worthing Railway Station was built in 1845 as part of the Brighton to Portsmouth line. After a new station was constructed further west in 1859, the original station was converted into two cottages. The building is two storeys high and features five windows. It is faced with cobbles and has red brick dressings, along with long and short quoins at each window bay. The eaves cornice adds detail to the roof, which is covered with slate. The windows are casement style.
