Description

Chiffley Grange is an L-shaped building located in Upper Staplefield Common, with its north wing dating from the 17th century or earlier. This part of the structure is a timber-framed cottage that has been largely refaced with painted brick and features a tiled roof and casement windows. A large stone chimney breast with offsets is present on the north wall. The west wing is an addition from the 18th to early 19th century, also constructed of painted brick and topped with a tiled roof. Some of the windows in this section have pointed Gothic panes. The building is two storeys high and has a total of three windows.
