Description

The Church of St Mark, located on Brantridge Lane in Staplefield, was built in 1847 and designed by architect Benjamin Ferrey. The structure features a chancel, nave, and a south porch with a bell-arch at the west end. It is constructed from Sussex sandstone and exhibits elements of 13th-century Gothic architecture. Inside, there are wall paintings by Charles Eamer Kempe, created in the style of the Morris movement.
