Description

Hillhouse Farmhouse is a 16th-century timber-framed house that was refaced in the 18th century with red brick on the ground floor and tile-hanging above. It features projecting weather-boarded gables with moulded bargeboards at both the east and west ends. The roof is mainly covered with Horsham slabs, although part of it has been replaced with tiles. The house has casement windows and a prominent chimney breast on the south side made of red brick on a stone base, decorated with a diaper pattern of grey headers. The building is two storeys high and has three windows.
