Description
The entrance gates, garden temple, pergola, and tool shed at Lindens were built around 1907. The entrance gates to the north feature four rusticated brick piers topped with stone cornices and ball finials, connected by wrought iron gates that have scroll work and dog rails. To the south, there is a section of curved walling with a brick pier topped by a hay cone. The attached garden temple has bands of brick and stone, a hipped tiled roof, and a Venetian arch supported by plain Ionic columns. There is brick walling on either side of the temple with two blank niches. Additionally, there are 48 brick pillars forming a garden pergola linked by wooden supports, along with a garden tool shed that is timber framed and has mullioned windows.
