Description

Abberton Cottage is a Grade II listed building located on the south side of Hassocks Road in Hurstpierpoint. It consists of two sections, both of which are two storeys tall and constructed of red brick. The northern section dates from the 18th century and features three windows with a tiled roof. The southern section is from the early 19th century and has two windows with a slate roof. The building has an eaves cornice, intact glazing bars, and Venetian shutters on the ground floor. There is also a modern Georgian-style doorway.
