Description

Spring Cottage is a 17th century or earlier timber-framed building with red brick infilling, located on Albourne Church Lane. It features a tiled roof and casement windows, and is one storey high with an attic. The cottage has two windows and two gabled dormers. On the north wall, there is a red brick chimney breast with offsets, which has a stone inset inscribed with the words: "The tenants of this manor has 'sic' the right to fetch water at this spring MDCCCIIICII".
