Description

Gaywood Farmhouse is a building consisting of two parallel ranges. The front range dates from the 17th century or earlier and is timber-framed with plaster infilling, although it has been restored and enlarged. The south side of this range has been refaced with stone and features a tiled roof, casement windows, and modern bays. The farmhouse is two storeys high with an attic, containing three windows and one hipped dormer. The back range is from the 18th century and is made of stone. To the south, there is a modern L-wing that has been added in red brick with imitation timbering.
