Description

Hurston Street Farmhouse is an L-shaped building with the back or north wing dating from the 17th century. It is two storeys high and features four windows. The structure is built of stone rubble with red brick dressings and quoins, topped with a tiled roof and casement windows. The front or main wing was constructed around 1840 and is also two storeys tall, with three windows. This section is faced with cement and has a slate roof, with sash windows that retain their glazing bars.
