The cattle shed located to the southwest of Stumbleholme Farmhouse, also known locally as the Hovel, is a 17th-century timber-framed building. It is a single-storey structure with an open front supported by wooden columns, while the back wall is faced with weather-boarding. The roof is hipped and tiled, featuring queen-posts and braces inside.
