Description

Old Lock Farmhouse, dated 1702, is a two-storey building with seven windows. It is constructed of red brick with grey headers in an alternating pattern, featuring a cemented string course and long and short quoins. An eaves cornice runs around the building, and it is capped by a hipped tiled roof. The windows are casement windows. A porch in the style of a sentry box is set at the front, topped with a pediment. Above the porch is a square panel within a moulded surround, containing a bull’s-eye window with diamond-shaped leaded lights. The window immediately to the south on both floors is narrower than the others. Ground floor windows have red brick relieving arches and cemented keystones.
