Description

Searles is an L-shaped block located on the east side of Church Street in West Chiltington. The east wing is a timber-framed building from the 17th century or earlier, featuring red brick infilling and a tiled roof. It has two storeys and three casement windows. The north-south wing dates from the early 19th century, also with two storeys and three windows, constructed of red brick with alternating grey headers. This wing has a modillion eaves cornice and a tiled roof, with casement windows.
