Description

Old Place Manor is a 15th-century building that has been modernized and almost entirely rebuilt externally in brick, which is now painted. The southernmost window bay was added around 1860, along with a modern additional storey. The back of the house, which faces east, features four narrow gables that are tile-hung, with one gable containing two storeys. The windows are casement style with diamond-shaped or small square panes, and one window has two tiers of three lights with wooden mullions and transoms. The roof is tiled, and the house has two storeys with five windows. The northern portion of the house retains a 16th-century roof and includes a kitchen fireplace with a bake-oven, along with a modern ground floor addition. Inside, there are medieval features present.
