Description

Gatelands consists of two ranges of buildings situated on Park Lane in West Grinstead. The east range is a timber-framed building, likely dating from the 17th century or earlier, with brick and plaster infilling between the timbers. It has a tiled roof with a pentice and a gabled dormer behind. A stepped chimney breast constructed of stone and brick is located at the north end. The windows are casement windows. The building is two storeys high and has three windows visible. The west wing is a later addition and is clad in tile hanging.
