Description

Chimes Cottage is a former pair of cottages, originally known as Nos 7 and 8, that has been converted into a single house. The building dates from the 17th century or earlier and features a timber frame that has been refaced with Mixon stone rubble and flint cobbles, accented with red brick dressings and quoins. It has a half-hipped thatched roof with two "eyebrows." The ground floor has sash windows with glazing bars, while the upper floor has casement windows. The cottage is two storeys high and has three windows in total.
