Description

Lakers Lodge, formerly known as Beggars Bush, is a house built in the early 19th century by the Laker family. It is two storeys high and features five windows, constructed from red brick. The building has an eaves bracket cornice and a hipped slate roof, with intact glazing bars. A wide porch at the front contains a doorway with a segmental fanlight. At both the east and west ends, there are late 19th-century five-sided additions that resemble bays on both storeys. Additionally, there is a T-wing extending to the south at the rear.
