Description

Pennygate is a 17th century or earlier building that was originally two cottages but has been combined into one. It is an L-shaped timber-framed structure, with some timbering visible at the west end. The front is refaced with red brick, while the back features stone rubble. The west wing has a half-hipped gable that is tile-hung, and the building has a tiled roof. It includes casement windows and a brick chimney breast at the back. There is a modern porch added to the entrance. The building has two storeys and an attic, with a total of four windows.
