Description
These are two blocks of identical cottages, numbered 3, 4, 5, and 6, situated on the west side of Tangmere Road in Tangmere. They date from the 18th century and were originally cottages belonging to the Goodwood Estate, known locally as "Dukery type" cottages. Each block contains two cottages, presenting a symmetrical facade with four windows per block. The walls are of coursed flints with red brick and grey header dressings, quoins, a stringcourse, and dripstones above the windows. The roofs are tiled, and the windows are casement type. The outer window bays project outwards with gabled roofs.
