Description

This is an 18th-century building on the west side of Little London. It has a higher frontage than the adjacent property at number 9, but a lower roofline. The front features two dormers with hipped, tiled roofs, and a coved cornice. The brickwork is noteworthy: red brick is laid alternating with grey headers. There are three windows, all with sash glazing bars intact, set in flat arches with flush boxes. One ground-floor window is set within a slightly segmental arch, featuring rubbed brick voussoirs. The doorway has a six-panelled door, with the top four panels being fielded, set within a moulded frame topped with a frieze and a flat hood. Numbers 7 to 10 form a group of buildings with architectural character.
