Description

The Parish Church of St Mary is a Grade I listed building located on Appledram Lane. This simple village church features a chancel, a nave with a south aisle, a south porch, and a western bell-turret topped with a broached shingled spire. The church dates back to the 13th century and underwent restorations by Butler in 1845 and by L W Ridge in 1877. It has been somewhat heavily restored over the years.
