Description

This is a mid-19th century terrace of small houses, notable for being an unusual example in Sussex. It comprises three houses known as 3 Homer Cottages, and five to nine houses known as Old Coastguard Cottages. The terrace has two storeys and fourteen windows. The front elevation is slate-hung, with a two-window bay projection at each end, each featuring a gable. The roofs are slate-covered, with intact glazing bars in the windows.
