Description

Nyton House, originally known as Nyton and later referred to as Nyton Farmhouse, is a large house with a facade dating from the late 17th century. However, the interior of the northwest wing dates back to the 16th century or earlier. The house has two storeys and an attic, featuring six windows and two dormers. It is constructed of red brick with a tiled roof. The sash windows, which have mostly intact glazing bars, include a prominent large bay of three windows at the south end of the east front. Inside, there are two notable staircases: one from the early 17th century and the other from the late 17th century.
