Description

Antigone Cottage is likely a 16th-century timber-framed building, although the ground floor has been rebuilt in painted brick. The first floor retains timber framing with painted brick infilling and diagonal braces. It has a tiled roof and casement windows. The original building is two storeys and has two windows. A two-storey painted brick extension has been added to the west, featuring a gabled design with two windows below and one above, plus a dormer window with a gable. A photograph of the cottage is held within the National Monuments Record.
