Description

The Shelter is a garden pavilion built around 1912 by Sir Aston Webb. It features red brick construction on a brick plinth, topped with a conical thatched roof and an iron weathervane with a finial. The pavilion has a square plan and includes projecting diagonal buttresses at the corners. The ends of the structure are supported by twisted brick tile columns. Inside, there are wooden seats in each of the four recessed sides.
