Description
This is a limestone urn located approximately 3 meters from the northeast corner of Praeneste in Rousham Park Gardens, created around 1738 by the architect William Kent. The urn features carved palm fronds and sits atop a moulded pedestal. It is part of the landscape gardens designed by William Kent between 1733 and 1740. Rousham Park is recognized in the Historic Buildings and Monuments Commission Register of Parks and Gardens at Grade I.
