Description
There are two chest tombs made of limestone ashlar located in the churchyard of St. Mary's, approximately 5 meters to the northwest of the north transept. The first tomb dates from the early 19th century and features illegible inscriptions. It has a moulded base, a cornice lid, and top, along with moulded inscription panels and panelled pilasters. The top of this tomb is damaged. The second tomb, from the late 18th century, also has illegible inscriptions. It is a short, upright chest with a moulded base, a cornice lid, fluted pilasters, and moulded panels. The end panels have arched tops with rosettes in the spandrels. On top of this chest is an elegant fluted urn with a lid, resting on a moulded and stepped base. The chest is set on a stone base, but the railings are missing.
