Description

This chest tomb, located in the churchyard of St. Mary's, dates from the late 18th century and is situated approximately 5 metres southeast of the Horde Chapel. It is constructed from limestone ashlar and features a moulded base and a coved cornice lid. The tomb is adorned with triple fluted pilasters and moulded end panels. On the south inscription panel, there is a worn carving depicting a pair of winged cherub heads, although the inscriptions themselves are illegible.
